FFKM (Kalrez) perfluoroelastomer material is currently the best rubber material among all elastic sealing materials in terms of resistance to high temperatures, strong acids and alkalis, and organic solvents. FFKM rubber can resist corrosion from over 1,600 chemical solvents, including strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, ultra-high-temperature steam, ethers, ketones, esters, nitrogen-containing compounds, hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, furans, and amine compounds. It can withstand temperatures up to 320°C. FFKM perfluoroelastomer components have nearly 40 years of practical application experience in numerous industries.
Rubber Seal Ring Sealing Pressure Test Method:
This test method measures the pressure exerted by the seal on the material installed in its groove. It simulates actual usage conditions by measuring the force required to open the seal lip to a distance equal to the thickness of the material it seals. For double-groove seals, a metal restrictor of specified thickness is inserted into one groove, and the test is conducted on the other groove. Thus, the test results reflect the pressure of the sealing lip during use.
